Completely done!

It's done. It's completely done! We closed on the house yesterday. The new people, a mother and daughter, seemed really nice and like they're gonna take care of our house. We'll miss it a lot, but we're glad it'll be in good hands.
So, we're just about all settled in the new apartment. I feel kind of weird calling it our new home, but I guess that's what it is. Home is where the heart is and where ever Steve and Buster are. So, for the next 13 months, this is home.
It feels a bit better in here today since they finally came in and turned on the phone, TV and Internet service. We were going crazy! You never know how much you rely on some things until they're not there.
Buster seems to be adapting pretty well. He's still a bit nervous about things, but he's panting less and starting to fall back into old habits. I hope he doesn't miss his backyard too much. Honestly, he didn't go back there a lot unless we were there with him.
So, it's a new beginning. Our new adventure has begun full swing.
That means I gotta go, because I got work to do!

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. And that had been a difficult thing for me to handle for years. So I feel I don't need to try.  2018 was a bad year. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return.
