Time to breathe-

Finally I feel like I can relax and take a breath.  Luthor is in production!  After 17 years, the time has finally come.  It was real before, but I was so busy working with the editor and doing edits, getting the new website finished, then working with my friend and getting the cover art done, and the fan page, and the trailer, and working with iUniverse, I didn't really let it sink in. 
But now, (other than bookmarks and getting one last trailer done) it's finished.  Everything that I have to do is complete.
Well, let me rephrase that--as far as getting Luthor published, it's done.  Once it's out there, a whole new list of chores will head my way to get the word out and market it.
But for now, it's time to slow down a bit.
It's time to take a weekend and know that I've accomplished something great.  It's time wait and see my dream come to fruition. 
So, I'll spend the weekend catching up on some reading.  Do some laundry.  Watch TV or a good movie.  Definitely hit the gym.  I may start a new wood burning.
My options are opened.  I can do whatever I want this weekend.
It's time to chill.
It's time to relax.
It's time to breathe.

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. And that had been a difficult thing for me to handle for years. So I feel I don't need to try.  2018 was a bad year. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return.
