Those pesky negative feelings

Yes, I do have my precious computer back, but this entry will have no picture or proper spacing because I'm working on the iPad at work. Anyway- Things have been good for me lately. But as things tend to do, they change slightly. The rush of book purchases have slowed (simply in person, not sure about online). And of course, that high I had felt is beginning to fade. Those negative feeling are beginning to creep in like smoke under a door. But I know those negative feelings are uncalled for. This is simply the regular pace of things. It's silly to give negativity any merit at this point. So I'll try the next venture of marketing, try to reach out to the next group of people. I'll keep going. That's all I can do: try. I won't stop. I made a promise to Steve and to myself that I would do whatever it takes to make Luthor a success. And I WILL see that happen. Negative feelings be damned. We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. And that had been a difficult thing for me to handle for years. So I feel I don't need to try.  2018 was a bad year. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return. But there was this story that I had wanted to tell for years. I had almost finished the first draft months
