Heartbroken

I opened up Facebook when I got home today expecting to find happy greeting from friends and stories about what happened during their day.

Instead I find this horrible picture and story about Josh Bransford, a Federal employee with the Idaho National Forest. 
He used this poor, trapped, suffering animal as target practice!

My stomach is in knots right now because I simply can't believe the level of cruelty that people will go to.

Would he be smiling if this were his own wife, limping around in the background, staining the snow with her blood, confused and alone?



This savagery has gone unpunished because of the wolves' status as unprotected. 

I could go on an on about the emotions that I'm feeling, but my heart is already too heavy.

Please sign the petition below so that justice may be served.

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return. But there was this story that I had wanted to tell for years. I had almost finished the first draft months
