Finally!

Well, we're finally in the new house. We closed on Friday (which, with the new financing rules or whatever they're called, was a nightmare). Steve had to work Friday night, so we didn't get much done then, and he had to work Saturday night, too, but we got a bunch moved beforehand. Then, Sunday we moved all the heavy stuff. It pretty much sucked. Monday was spent doing small things (well, if you consider switching out ceiling fans and replanting a tree small), and today will be spent hanging pictures.

It feels so great to be in the house. We couldn't be happier (actually, if it was in Colorado, we would be ecstatic), but for here, it's great!

My favorite round chair has been pulled out from the office, where it was in the apartment, back out to its proper place in the living room!

This is mine and Steve's third house, and it only proved to us again that, as a team, there's nothing we can't do!

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. And that had been a difficult thing for me to handle for years. So I feel I don't need to try.  2018 was a bad year. No only because there's a new problem with the cunt in the White House every day, but with people in general. People have gotten more violent and uncaring. As a society, it is clear that we are declining.  It's been extremely difficult attempting to stay positive over the last 12+ months. But that is going to change. I am going to fight for positivity. Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return. But there was this story that I had wanted to tell for years. I had almost finished the first draft months
