I try and try and try!

It's hard not getting discouraged (a state I seem to be stuck in for the last seven months) where my writing "career" is concerned. 

Here's an example-

Yesterday I posted a link for my Serpenteens trailer. I posted it on Twitter (7 thousand+ followers), and I posted it on the Serpenteens FB page (184 likes), I posted it my regular FB page (400+ "friends"), and I posted it on six other FB pages for writers to post their work (?).  
And out of all of that I got 3 views!

WTF? Is it really that much of a bother for people to take one minute out of their time?  Apparently I'm just wasting MY time.

We've started a new year. We've started a new opportunity to be a better person. A happier person. It's no secret that I'm one of the worst bloggers around. Why? Because no one reads it. And that had been a difficult thing for me to handle for years. So I feel I don't need to try.  2018 was a bad year. No only because there's a new problem with the cunt in the White House every day, but with people in general. People have gotten more violent and uncaring. As a society, it is clear that we are declining.  It's been extremely difficult attempting to stay positive over the last 12+ months. But that is going to change. I am going to fight for positivity. No more depression. No more doubting myself or my writing. If people don't want to read my blog, big fucking deal! I don't care anymore. The time for change is now! Freedom of Speech?

  It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any type of writing. I don’t even have a website anymore. I wasn’t planning on writing anything, probably eve again, but lately, things have been changing.  The “Supreme” Court has been making very dangerous changes to the laws in our country. Particularly six of the judges. Six CONSERVATIVE judges, who are forcing us to go back to the 1950’s! Their latest stunt is allowing businesses to discriminate against LGBT+ people if they don’t want to serve them, because it’s against their religion. They’re claiming it falls under the First Amendment: freedom of speech.  Oh, yeah, we’ll, here’s some freedom of speech for you: Fuck them!!! Fuck all Republicans!!! Fuck Donald tRump and his illiterate cult. Finished another one

After an almost seven month break from writing, yesterday I finished another book. It is the first installment of a new new trilogy called My Leprechaun . The first book is titled The End of the Rainbow . I'm excited about this series, but I'm also filled with angst. Finishing a book and getting it ready to put out into the world and see what it does is usually an exciting time. There's always that chance that this book will be the one that puts my name on the map. In pure blog openness,  that's what I had hoped for when I released Reunion last October. It was my first ghost story, and I thought it would make a huge splash. But it didn't. I fought for months just to get a few reviews.  The excitement fizzled and faded. And something inside me turned off. That was the start of my break from writing.  I was sure I was done working so hard for nothing in return. But there was this story that I had wanted to tell for years. I had almost finished the first draft months
